Idea of the Week:
Most creators have 100+ old videos with no chapters. That’s lost watch time, worse search placement, and a bad viewer experience. Chapters turn long videos into clickable “mini-episodes,” boost retention, and unlock “Key moments” in Google and YouTube Search.
Creators know they should do it. They won’t. You will.
Here’s your offer:
“I’ll add clean, on-brand chapters to your entire back catalog, write a one-paragraph summary for each video, and hand you a Google Sheet and paste-ready descriptions.”
You deliver three things: a Google Sheet with timestamps, titles, and summaries; a paste-ready block for the YouTube description; and a short Loom showing how to bulk paste them fast.
Optional: a Notion database the creator can keep using for future uploads.
Now, how do you do it?
I recommend doing it manually for the first 100 jobs (1 client can give you 100 videos, 100 clients can give you 1 video each - basically do the first 100 manually).
Eventually, you would need automation to sort it. If it is an English video, you can easily transcribe it, use AI to create smart timestamps.
If it is a Bangla video, you will have to download the transcript, translate it, then add time-stamp but the Bangla one might be more tricky.
More tricky = more opportunities
How will I get customers?
Cold email is the best - but don’t just say “I will do it for you”
Do it first, and then email with the result.
Yes, that’s more work upfront but that will help you get more replies.
Try it, it sounds simple, but it is extremely manual & I think it will work.
That’s your alley dispatch for the week. Next one drops soon.
